I got out my sketchpad and a pencil and did a few little doodles. I think somehow I had an HB lead in my pencil this time, instead of the 2b I normally use, which affected my lines a little bit. Anyway, each of these sketches was done really quite quickly.
I don’t know where the first one came from. I think I may have had a little bit of reference from a poster on the other side of the room, though it was more of a doodle than anything. Took about 10 minutes to draw, and then I scanned it crooked. I’m an idiot. I’m really not happy with the mouth, but it probably could have been far worse
The second was done with fairly heavy lines, and not much in the way of reference, so it’s kinda crap. Still, I wanted to draw it since I’m such huge fans of the two of them, and I can’t wait to be able to play this game. (If you don’t know who they are, you need to read more webcomics)
Just keep at it bro, you have talent. Don’t waste it by letting your enthusiasm atrophy.
your second sketch is the best you were obviously more interested in the subject matter try more shading it gives depth and emotion pencil sketching is a very sensitive medium it reveals your feelings keep it up
